Shakespeare in the Park summer '08: 'Hair,' 'Hamlet'

hair.nudity.jpgThis summer's Shakespeare in the Park has been revealed: "Hamlet" will play from May 27 through June 29 and "Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical" will run from July 22 through August 17.

Hamlet will feature Michael Stuhlbarg and Richard Easton and will be directed by Oskar Eutis. The revival of "Hair" with Jonathan Groff and Will Swenson, will be directed by Diane Paulus.

All performances are free at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park and are scheduled Tuesdays through Sundays at 8 p.m.

Starting March 16, "summer supporter" tickets will be available. In the past, anyone who donated at least $100 to the Public was entitled to one reserved seat at one Shakespeare in the park performance.
