DeNiro's Greenwich Hotel opens for Tribeca Film Fest
The Greenwich Hotel, the upscale new hotel co-owned by Robert DeNiro, is now accepting bookings for rooms during the Tribeca Film Festival, which runs April 23 to May 4.
When the hotel's website first went live a couple weeks ago, it was only accepting reservations for April 1 through 20, and then there was a black-out period until May 5.
Meaning, that if you were flying out for the Tribeca Film Fest hoping to snag a room at the place to be seen, you were out of luck unless your people know people who know people.
Now, you just need to know the Benjamins as the "preview rate" rooms are priced from $475 to $695 a night. On June 1, rates climb to $625 to $825.
Still no word on an opening date for Ago, the hotel's restaurant.
The eight-story Greenwich Hotel is located in Tribeca at 377 Greenwich St., map, quite close to Tribeca Grill, which DeNiro co-owns with Drew Nieporent.
