Circle Line Downtown gets 'exclusive' Waterfalls tours

nycwaterfalls.jpgWhen artist Olafur Eliasson brings his spectacular New York City Waterfalls project to the East River this summer, it looks as though Circle Line Downtown will be "the exclusive water tour provider" to see the cascading water up close.

That's the news on the Circle Line website, but no other details are yet available.

The four NYC Waterfalls -- measuring 90- to 120-feet tall -- are scheduled for "mid-July to mid-October" and will be installed by the Brooklyn anchorage of the Brooklyn Bridge; between Piers 4 and 5 in Brooklyn; in Lower Manhattan at Pier 35; and on the north shore of Governors Island.

Update: Circle Line Downtown has changed the wording on its website from "exclusive" to clarify that it will be the "official" provider of water tours of 'The New York City Waterfalls' by Olafur Eliasson."
