Fashion Week package and contest at Milford Plaza
Although Fashion Week isn't open to the public, you can usually buy your way in via a hotel package deal. The W hotels normally have tickets available to several shows, (though they haven't yet posted the offers for February's Fashion Week.)
However, the Milford Plaza is sort of getting in on the game this season with a February Fashion Frenzy package. Priced from a mere $159, you get a hotel "club" room, continental breakfast, access to the fashion magazine library in the Milford Club Lounge, a Macy’s coupon book, a map and a $4 MetroCard.
Unfortunately the package doesn't automatically get your into the Bryant Park tents - but they do have a contest. According to the Milford page, "one lucky winner will receive two rooms with double occupancy at the Milford Plaza for two nights, admission to four fashion shows and a $500 travel voucher." But if you click through to enter, it's only three fashion events. Also odd, there's no stated deadline to enter.
Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week will take over Bryant Park from February 1 through 8.
