Tree arrives at Rockefeller Center -- watch via webcam

rocktreearrives2007.jpg

The holiday tree is arriving at Rockefeller Center this morning. You can watch it happen live via webcam.

The lighting ceremony for the 85-foot-tall Norway spruce from the Shelton, Connecticut is scheduled for November 28.

The tree arrived around 7 a.m. (above,) and was lifted off the truck around 8:45 a.m. (below.)

A few minutes later it was set on the ground. But it wasn't until 10:25 when the crane lifted it again.

At 10:30 a.m. it was moving into position.

By 10:40 a.m., it was standing up on its base.
