Bubby's reopens, Serendipity closed one more week
The health department's high-profile pre-Thanksgiving shuttering of two popular New York restaurants -- Serendipity 3 and Bubby's -- has had two different results thus far.
Brunch hot spot Bubby's in Tribeca has already reopened (and sounded packed when NewYorkology called this morning.) But Serendipity remains shuttered, at least for another week.
"Probably the end of next weekend," is the targeted re-opening date for Serendipity, the Upper East Side dessert emporium famous for its frozen hot chocolate and appearances in several movies including "One Fine Day."
Serendipity's failing Nov. 14 health department report is online. As is Bubby's.
Bubby's is located at 120 Hudson St., map. (It also has a Brooklyn location on the waterfront between the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges.)
Serendipty is located at 225 E. 60th St., map.
Earlier: Bubby's closed due to cockroaches
Serendipity 3 closed due to cockroaches, mice
