Balloon inflation with Shrek, Scooby, and Koons' rabbit

The balloons for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade are getting inflated right now on the Uper West Side and thousands of people are filing by to catch a glimpse before tomorrow's parade.
Inflation goes on until 10 p.m. tonight on the north and south sides of the American Museum of Natural History (77th and 81st streets between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue.)

The Thanksgiving Day parade starts at 9 a.m. at 77th Street and Cenral Park West, heading along Central Park to Columbus Circle and then down Broadway to 38th Street and Herald Square. From there it turns west on 34th Street, concluding at 7th Avenue. After the parade, you can see the balloon deflation on many of the side streets near the end of the route.
