 New York Magazine this week flagged an online website that sounds like it could be a lifesaver for a traveler in New York for business whose plans (or the weather) suddenly change -- meaning she has nothing to wear and no time to shop for a night out.
Shop at NET-A-PORTER before 1 p.m. and for an extra $25, they'll deliver it to you the same day if you're in Manhattan, Brooklyn or Queens.
They've got an excellent selection from some of the top designers, including Vera Wang, Zac Posen, Jimmy Choo, Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen, Pringle of Scotland, Juicy Couture and Pucci. There's plenty little black dresses to choose from (though you're looking in the $300 to $9,500 price range - with one as cheap as $129) as well as coats, scarves, shoes and of course handbags.
