'Farnsworth' student-rush and standing tix for $26.50

farnsworthinventionlogo.jpgWhen the new Aaron Sorkin play about the race to discover television, "The Farnsworth Invention," opens on Broadwya this fall, it will offer both standing-room and student-rush tickets.

Standing room spots, priced at $26.50 each, will go on sale on the day of the performance two hours before curtain - but only if that show is otherwise sold out. It's a cash-only transaction, one per person.

Student rush seats will also be available for $26.50. But you must be a full-time student with student ID plus another form of government-issed ID (you fakers.) Those tickets go on sale daily when the box office opens.

"The Farnsworth Invention" will begin previews October 15 with opening night set for November 14 at the Music Box Theatre, located at 239 W. 45th St., map.
