Best street vendor: Washington Sq. Park 'Dosa Man'

Thiru Kumar, the “Dosa Man” on the south side of Washington Square Park, is the best street-cart food vendor in New York City this year, as determined by the voters of the now annual Vendy Awards.

Kumar, a two-time runner up for the honor, serves up Sri Lankan-style vegan crepes. You'll find his cart where Sullivan Street meets the park, map.

Name: Muhammed Rahman from Kwik Meal
Location: 46th Street and Sixth Avenue, map
Serving: Bengali-spiced Middle Eastern fare

Name: Veronica Julien from Veronica's Kitchen
Location: Front and Pine streets, map
Serving: Trinidadian/Jamaican cuisine

Name: Super Taco, aka "Sobre Ruedas"
Location: 96th Street and Broadway, map
Serving: Tacos, tortas, tamales, quesadillas, etc.

Name: Farez (Freddy) Zeideia, the King of Falafel and Shawarma
Location: 30th Street and Broadway, Astoria, Queens, map
Serving: Middle-eastern style street food
