W hotels can get you into the Fashion Week tents

badgleymischka.jpgNew York's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is only days away, but the W hotel chain still has VIP room packages that come with the sought-after not-for-sale passes to the catwalks.

W's Fashion Week tickets are still available for shows by Badgley Mischka, BCBG MaxAzria, Anna Sui, Anne Klein, Tadashi, Tracy Reese, MaxAzria, Miss Sixty, Lacoste, Reem Acra and Monique Lhuillier. Sold out: Nicolle Miller, Diesel, Nanette Lepore, Carolina Herrera, Luca Luca, Peter Som and Snoopy.

The one-night suite packages cost $989 if you stay at the W New York - Union Square or $889 if you're at the W's Tuscany. In addition to a pair of reserved seats at one fashion show, you get passes to the designer's backstage lounge. At the hotel, you get a suite with late 3 p.m. checkout and two free cocktails.

New York Fashion Week runs from September 5 through 12, centered at Bryant Park. After the Fashion Week tents come down, the park will start prep work for the October 26 reopening of The Pond, its free ice skating rink.
