Lottery for $25 front-row 'Young Frankenstein' tickets

When the Broadway box office for "Young Frankenstein" opens September 10 at 10 a.m., there will be a special offering of orchestra-level seats, some by lottery, priced from $25 to $120, according to Playbill.
The new Mel Brooks' musical based on his hit 1974 comedy movie of the same name, will star Roger Bart in the title role, with Christopher Fitzgerald as Igor, Sutton Foster as lab assistant Inga, Megan Mullally as Elizabeth, Shuler Hensley as the monster, Andrea Martin as Frau Blucher and Fred Applegate as Inspector Kemp and the hermit.
Regular tickets are already available through Ticketmaster, but the new box-office only seats will include the $25 front-row lottery seats and $120 "prime center section" tickets, according to Playbill. (There is an extra $1.50 theater restoration charge per ticket.)
More details on the lottery from Playbill:On Sept. 10 a lottery list will be made, followed by a 7 PM drawing to determine who will snag $25 front-row orchestra seats to "most performances" during the show's first two weeks. This kicks off a lottery program for $25 front-row seats for every performance except Saturday evenings throughout the show's entire run. "Young Frankenstein" begins previews at the Hilton Theatre on October 11. Opening night is November 8.
