Cabbies warn of another September strike - Daily News

newtaxilogo.jpgHundreds of taxi drivers in one of the city's unions have voted to authorize another strike to protest requirements they all install GPS and credit card machines in their vehicles, sources told the Daily News.

If another strike took place, it would likely happen before October 1, the paper said.

Earlier this month, some drivers held a two-day strike over the same issue and the city instituted "zone fares" for 48 hours.
