Circle Line to keep Statue of Liberty ferries through '07

statapril.JPGCircle Line-Statue of Liberty Ferry Inc. will continue to operate the only ferries to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island for at least three months longer than planned, moving the switchover to Hornblower Yachts to a less busy time of the year, Crain's reports today.

The new target date -- January 1, 2008 -- will also allow more time to negotiate the transition, which requires Hornblower to buy Circle Line’s seven boats.
