Bonjour September! Hotel le Bleu delays opening again

Hotel le Bleu, Brooklyn's first boutique hotel, has again delayed its opening date, according to its online booking site.

September 1 is the new start date, pushed back most recently from August 13. Room rates start at $297 for the first night if you take advantage of the online "summer breaks" 15 percent discount. When the hotel was scheduled to open July 9, the rates were as low as $280.

The hotel is located on an unappealing stretch of 4th Avenue, map, just across the street from the spot where a huge section of scaffolding collapsed during the weekend (possibly with the help of a wayward driver,) according to the pictures and commentary at Brownstoner.com.

The hotel is located at 370 Fourth Ave.

Earlier: Hotel Le Bleu's new new opening: August 13
