Hotel Le Bleu pushes back opening date to Aug. 1

This shouldn't come as a surprise, but Brooklyn's new boutique hotel, Hotel Le Bleu has again pushed back it's opening date to August 1.

It was scheduled to open today, but the online reservations now start no earlier than August 1. That's also the date quoted by the front desk staff, who cited the dreaded wait for the final OK from the building department.

Let this be another lesson for you folks booking your trip at a brand new hotel. It's risky business unless they're already open.
