Comfort Inn opens in Brooklyn with rooms from $170
Brooklyn has a new hotel - and this one has no pretentions about aiming for boutiquishness.
The Comfort Inn Brooklyn Bridge on Butler Street is open for business, according to Gowanus Lounge blog (where commenters note the hotel's location is "one of the worst blocks in the neighborhood.")
The hotel is located at 279 Butler St., map, with rates from $170.
TripAdvisor now lists 22 Brooklyn hotels, inlcuding the not-yet-open boutique Hotel Le Bleu. The top ranked:
1. Marriott Brooklyn Bridge
2. The Park Slope Bed and Breakfast
3. Holiday Inn Express (Park Slope/Gowanus)
4. Best Western Gregory Hotel (8315 Fourth Avenue)
5. Comfort Inn (3218 Emmons Avenue)
