Royalton hotel closing for renovations until October

The Royalton hotel will close June 10 to October to add penthouses, upgrade other rooms and redesign the entrance, lobby, hallways, bars and restaurant, according to Crain's .

Guests already booked at the hotel for the now-shuttered dates will have the option of staying at Morgans or Hudson, two other New York City hotels owned by Morgans Hotel Group Co..

The Royalton is located at 44 W. 44th St., map.
