Half-price 'Xanadu" Broadway tickets for roller skaters
You can get half-price tickets to "Xanadu" on Broadway if you're dedicated enough to show up at the box office in roller skates, according to Playbill.
The offer is good for the first 200 people who show up on the following Mondays: June 4; June 25; July 16; July 30; August 20; September 10 and October 1. There is a limit of two tickets per person, which will be sold at a discounted rate of $49.50 each.
"Xanadu," based on the roller-disco movie starring Olivia Newton-John, Gene Kelly and Michael Beck, also sells seats on the stage for $41.25.
"Xanadu" is in previews on Broadway with opening night set for June 26. However, this past Sunday's performance was scrapped because "there were difficulties with the set that could have endangered the actors," according to Playbill. It plays the Helen Hayes Theatre, located at 240 W. 44th St., map.
