American moves into $1.3 bln Terminal B at JFK

American Airlines officially moved into its new terminal at JFK today, giving it a total of 28 gates dedicated to international flights at the airport, Crain's reports.

The $1.3 billion "B" terminal isn't completely finished, but when done, it will include 20,000 feet of premium lounge space, a new Admirals Club and Flagship Lounge. More info from Crain's:

The new "B" terminal is right next to American's recently opened Customs and Immigration facility, which is capable of processing 1,600 travelers per hour with more than 40 agent counters.
