'Xanadu' to sell onstage seats for $41.25 (sans skates)

How is "Xanadu" like "Inherit the Wind" and "Spring Awakening"?

Probably not in too many ways, but it will sell seats on the stage for each performance, according to BroadwayWorld.

When the musical, based on the 80s roller-skating flick with Olivia Newton-John, Gene Kelly and Michael Beck, begins previews on May 23, onstage seats will be available at the box office only for $41.25. Regular tickets, (which go on sale April 21,) will be priced from $41.25 to $111.25, while student rush seats will be sold for $26.25.

"Xanadu" will play the Helen Hayes Theatre, located at 240 W. 44th St., map.

Onstage seats for "Inherit the Wind," with Christopher Plummer and Brian Dennehy are avaialble for $36.25 while onstage tickets to the Duncan Sheik-tuned musical "Spring Awakening" go for $31.25.
