Video of bachelor-party bullet hitting AirTrain station

airtrainshooting.democracynowvideo.JPGWhen NYPD officers fired 50 bullets outside a Queens strip club, killing a man hours before his wedding, one of those bullets went so far astray that it slammed through the AirTrain terminal used to shuttle passengers to JFK Airport.

DemocracyNow has security-camera footage of the bullet whizzing into the Jamaica AirTrain terminal and nearly hitting a man walking along with a suitcase. (The shooting comes 20 minutes into today's DemocracyNow show. The footage was originally aired in December.)

While no one was injured at the AirTrain location, the November 25 shooting left Sean Bell dead and severely injured two of his bachelor party guests, Joseph Guzman and Trent Benefield.

Three of the officers involved in the shooting will be indicted today.

See YouTube for a no-bullets video of a ride on AirTrain from Jamaica Station to JFK's Terminal 1.
