'Bodies' permanently extended at South Street Seaport

bodies.southstreet.jpg"Bodies: The Exhibition" has been so successful at the South Street Seaport that it's extended its run yet again and will soon welcome its one millionth visitor, organizers told NY1.

Open since November 2005, tickets are now on sale through at least June 30, 2007.

The exhibition has attracted controversy because it's not entirely clear all the previous owners of said bodies actually consented to such use of their corpses.

Adult tickets cost $26.50 for weekdays, a dollar more on weekends and holidays. Extra charges apply to sales over the Internet or telephone.
