Empire State Building to open to 2 a.m. every night

esb.JPGStarting Thursday, the Empire State Building's observatory decks will stay open until 2 a.m. seven days a week.

Normally the building closes at midnight, but hours had been extended to 2 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the past eight months.

The main observatory deck in the city's tallest building is on the 86th floor, but for an extra $15, you can get to the 102nd floor, which reopened to the public in November 2005.

The last elevators go up at 1:15 a.m.
