Barneys Warehouse sale runs through March 4

barneyswarehousesale.jpg

Behind a very dull door on a Chelsea street, hundreds of people can be found following the hand-written signs to the Barneys Warehouse sale.

barneys.enterhere.jpgUnlikely as it all seems, you'll see model-like women strip nearly naked (there are no dressing rooms) to try on super-expensive designer clothes marked down to the merely expensive range. Prada, Marc Jacobs, Henry Cuir and of course Braneys' own lines abound.

In case you tire, there are yet more signs to urge you on: "You're Not Done Yet - Buy More," Shut Up and Shop," and "Imelda Marcos is Coming - Buy More Shoes."

The ShopHound blog advises: "As we have mentioned in the past, the best bargains can be found near the end when they start piling additional discounts on top of the ticket prices. Since it ends on Sunday March 4th, we expect those price adjustments to start after next weekend."

The Barneys Warehouse Sale takes place at 255 W. 17th St., map.
