W hotel package gets you into Fashion Week tents

Generally you have to be somebody, or know somebody, to get inside the Bryant Park tents for fashion week.

But apparently just staying a night at the W Hotel on Union Square can turn you into somebody.

Once again, the W Hotel has a fashion week package, including a dozen pairs of passes for shows at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, which runs from February 2 through 9.

The W Catwalk Package still has tickets available for BCBG Max Azria, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, Betsey Johnson, Vera Wang, Monique Lhuiller and Lacoste. Already spoken for: Michael Kors, Zac Posen, Heatherette, Badgley Mischka and Diane Von Furstenberg.

The $949 package comes with a hotel suite for one night, a pair of reserved-seat passes for one show, a pair of VIP backstage lounge access passes, a swag bag from Bliss Spa, two cocktails at Living Room and late check-out (at 3 p.m.) Ten percent of the price goes to Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS -- so you can say you're really only overindulging to benefit charity.
