Intrepid + Statue of Liberty; S. I. Ferry + Buttermilk
You know what gets Newyorkology hot? Taking the Staten Island Ferry out to get an amazing view of the Intrepid, and then standing at the front of the boat on the way back, and figuring out the ferry's making an unannounced diversion through the Buttermilk Channel between Governor's Island and Brooklyn. Yeah, total, full-on geekiness. Nearly had to change trou.
