Although the Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting posts a list of many of the movies currently filming in New York City, you're on your own to guess where the crews may show up. However, blogs and fan sites sites such Soprano Sue post tips when available.
If you just want to stand outside and hope the camera picks you up, there are a few options, including the Today Show (30 Rockefeller Plaza,) weekdays from 7 to 10 a.m.;
The Early Show (Fifth Ave. at 59th St.,) at 8 and 8:30 a.m.; Good Morning America (44th Street and Broadway in Times Square,) from 7 to 9 a.m.; and MTV's Total Request Live (1550 Broadway in Times Square between 44th and 45th streets.)
And for special events and other tapings, try Audiences Unlimited and 1iota.
