Carnegie Hall for $1 - (plus $ 1 service charge)

Tickets are still available to Carnegie Hall's first concert of 2007 -- and for the bargain price of $1, plus the $1 handling fee.

The goal is to gain attention for the preservation of the Amazon Rain Forest and the Amazon Regions Protect Areas. The January 6 concert features the Brazilian Bachiana Chamber Orchestra conducted by João Carlos Martins playing Bach’s Orchestral Suite #1, Villa Lobos’ Preludio Bachiana, and the world premiere of Stefan Melayers’ Amazonas.

Tickets can be purchased on the Carnegie Hall website.
