TKTS snapshot: pre-Thanksgiving edition
Heading into the long holiday weekend, TKTS, the discount Broadway theater booth off Times Square operated by the Theatre Development Fund, on Tuesday had half-price tickets available to more than half of all the current Broadway shows.
The primary TKTS booth is currently located behind the Marriott Marquis hotel on West 46th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue while the usual location in the middle of Times Square undergoes a top-to-bottom reconstruction, (pictured above.) There is another TKTS booth near the financial district at the corner of Front and John Streets with slightly different hours and ticket availbility.
The offerings change daily, so consider this snapshot as an indication of what you may find in the future.

Among the Off-Broadway offerings, 50 percent discounts were available for several shows including "My Name is Rachel Corrie," "Evil Dead: The Musical," "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie" and "Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris."
