New peppered chocolate from Brooklyn

carymochocolatebar.jpg
There's a small confectioner in Brooklyn called CaryMo Chocolate and they make a too-die-for dark chocolate bar made with dried strawberries and peppercorns.

They're only available in a few shops, including Stinky on Smith Street and Vintage New York wine shops in Manhattan, but you can also order online. A pair of mini-bars costs $3, a great stocking stuffer.

The company's run by Cary Becraft, who used to work in the pastry kitchen at River Cafe.
