JFK's Comair: if you absolutely don't need to be on time
Sure, it's hard to cope in the New York City airspace, the most congested in the country. But it appears nobody's doing it worse than Comair Flight 5283, according to the Associated Press.
The flight, from JFK to Washington Reagan National Airport was late 100 percent of the time in September, according to monthly U.S. Transportation Department data.
The planes were late an average of 79 minutes, with three of the 30 scheduled flights outright canceled.
Comair, owned by Delta Airlines, was responsible for 25 of the 50 most frequently delayed flights in the Unites States during September, according to the AP story.
