Inside CBGB during the final week on the Bowery

Legendary punk and rock club CBGB opened its doors in the daytime this weekend to camera-toting fans hoping to capture the mystique of the last week of life for the 30-year-old space that helped launch bands such as Blondie, the Ramones and the Talking Heads.
With only a few nights left to go, CBGB is preparing to close at 315 Bowery, map. Meanwhile, owner Hilly Kristal continues to search for another venue in New York or Las Vegas.
Shows scheduled for this week include Bad Brains, Debbie Harry and Patti Smith.
