SpaFinders' readers name favorite NY retreats
The Spa Finders 2006 Readers' Choice Awards are out and several New York locations are on the best-of lists.
While none of the NYC spas walked off with a win in the main categories, Manhattan's Mandarin Oriental at Columbus Circle made it on the lists for most luxurious spa, best interior design and best urban hotel spa. Bliss 49 at the W New York on Lexington Avenue also made the best urban hotel spa list.
The New Age Health Spa in the Catskills ranked as a finalist in several sub-categories including for affordability, cuisine, yoga and "mind-body-spirit." The Copperhood Inn & Spa, also located in the Catskills, also got a spot on the affordability list.
The Mirbeau Inn & Spa in New York’s Finger Lakes region made the romance list while the Borgata in Atlantic City rated among the best spas at a hotel where you can also make bets.
