Holiday splurge: Thanksgiving Day Parade Skybox

garfield.jpgHere's a VIP hotel package for people who like to plan ahead - and get the best.

The Battery Park Ritz Carlton's Thanksgiving Day Parade package gets you not just a suite for three nights, but also the "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Skybox Experience" situated eight floors above Times Square with floor to ceiling windows.

Prices start at $3,742 for two people with supplements of $730 for each guest at least six years old. (It is a parade, after all.)

But for that much money, of course there's a little bit more included: a free scoop at the FAO Schweetz Ice Cream Cafe after the parade, a kid-friendly buffet in the Skybox, Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet in The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom, a welcome party, a couple buffet breakfasts, transportation to the parade and a book about the history of the parade.
