Wall Street Journal recommends NewYorkology

wsj.logo.JPGWelcome Wall Street Journal subscribers who read about NewYorkology this morning in the paper's list of recommended travel blogs.

However, NewYorkology can no longer tell you how to get Julia Roberts Broadway tickets, because her show closed June 18.

And in all fairness, it should be pointed out that NewYorkology has a lot of original content here, but also links and directs readers to useful New York and travel content elsewhere on the web. So the credit for the grunt work behind the "sample post" about the benefits of using a hotel's own webpage to book your room should properly go to travel writer Christopher Elliott. On his site today, by the way, he's keen on two new airfare booking sites: Farecast.com and Farecompare.com.

Other sites on the Wall Street Journal recommended list include World Hum, Lonely Planet's Journeys, National Parks Traveler, and the Blue Ridge Gazette.
