'History Boys,' 'Jersey Boys' top Drama League picks
"The History Boys," Alan Bennett's practically perfect drama set in a British school, and "Jersey Boys," the popular Broadway version of the lie and music of The Four Seasons, were among the big winners at today's Drama League Awards, Playbill reports.
"The History Boys" was named the most distinguished production of a play and "Jersey Boys" won distinguished production of a musical.
"Awake and Sing!" won for the distinguished revival of a play and "Sweeney Todd" walked away wth the distinguished revival of a musical. The full list of nominees are posted on the Drama League's web site.
Tony Award nominees will be announced May 16.
