Taste of Wall Street set for WTC 7 reopening May 15

tasteofwallst.JPGThis year's A Taste Of Wall Street culinary fundraiser will be held on the 45th floor of the rebuilt World Trade Center 7 and is timed to coincide with the building's grand opening - May 15.

Participating restaurants include Tribeca Grill, Butter Restaurant, One if by Land, Two if by Sea, Battery Gardens and Sumile. In total, about 50 restaurants will set up tasting tables and the 700 to 800 attendees are free to sample as many of the dishes as they like during the three-hour event. Desserts, champagne, wine and speciality cocktails have also been donated for the event.

A taste of Wall Street is a fundraiser for Wall Street Rising, a post 9/11 not-for-profit organization of businesses and residents working to revive downtown. Advance tickets cost $195, of which $100 is tax-deductible.
