13 more QM2 Brooklyn visits; QE2 due in fall
The Queen Mary 2 will return to Brooklyn this Saturday, making her second visit to her new home port at the edge of Red Hook.
A dozen more QM2 trips are scheduled out of Brooklyn during 2006, with the Queen Elizabeth 2 scheduled to make her first arrival September 19 at 8:00am as part of a 20-day Autumn Colors cruise. (Prices start at $3,649.)
Most of the Queen Mary 2's arrivals and departures will take place around the same time as her first trip here, according to a spokeswoman for the Cunard Line, which operates both ships. The QM2 will arrive around 5 a.m. and set sail about 12 hours later.

Cunard will share the dock with Princess Cruises, including its new Crown Princess starting June 14. In all, Brooklyn is expected to see 40 ships at the new terminal in the Buttermilk Channel.
