Freedom Tower work suspends PATH trains to WTC

Direct service on weekends between the World Trade Center and Hoboken, N.J. on the PATH train will be suspended indefinitely starting Sunday to allow for construction to begin on the Freedom Tower at Ground Zero, the Star-Ledger reports.

From the paper:

Beginning Sunday, passengers wishing to get to the World Trade Center from Hoboken or Pavonia/Newport will have to take a Journal Square-bound train and transfer at Grove Street in Jersey City. All Hoboken-to-33rd Street trains will stop at Journal Square.
Corrected: This entry was modified to indicate the changes are only for weekend service. Details at the Port Autority's site.
