Brooklyn Industries launches a Coney Island line

brooklynindustries.wonderwheel.jpgTimed to coincide with this weekend's annual reopening ceremonies of Coney Island, Brooklyn Industries is launching a new line of T-shirt designs paying tribute to the iconic beach playground.

The Cyclone, Wonder Wheel and parachute Jump are among the 12 new Coney Islands designs.

The pitch:

The line is not as simple as it first appears. The geometric designs are inspired by the Russian Constructivist art movement of the 1920s and 1930s built on the idealist notion that art and technology can cultivate a better and brighter world.
Brooklyn Industries sells its gear online and a number of locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan, including the SoHo store at 286 Lafayette St., map.
