Brooklyn Holiday Inn Express rooms to start at $129

Rooms at the new Park Slope Holiday Inn Express will be priced at $129 to $199 a night will have marble baths, Jacuzzis in some rooms, an expanded continental breakfast and self-parking, according to the Daily News.

The nine-story, 115-room hotel is scheduled to open in June according to the Daily News, but online reservations are only being accepted for dates starting in July. Although the location is just a block and a half away Park Slope's most bubbling dining and shopping stip, 5th Avenue, the hotel itself is immediately surrounded by several auto body shops and a gas station. From the Daily News:

"The site isn't all that bad. You have to look ahead two or three years," said Thomas McConnell, senior managing director of Cushman & Wakefield's hotel group. "Driving down Fourth Ave., I see a lot of residential housing going in."
The Park Slope Holiday Inn Express is located at 625 Union St., between 3rd and 4th avenues, map. It's very close to the R subway line.
