NY's outdoor ice skating rinks to end season in April

wollmanrink.centralpark.JPG

As the weather is warming up, (save for the snow forecast for Friday,) the city's outdoor ice skating rinks are in their final weeks of business for the season.

There are a total of seven ice skating rinks in New York City's parks: Wollman Rink and Lasker Rink in Central Park, Kate Wollman Rink in Prospect Park, Abe Stark Rink at Coney Island, World’s Fair Ice Skating Rink in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Staten Island War Memorial Ice Skating Rink in Clove Lakes Park and The Pond at Bryant Park.

The last day to skate is April 2, except for Prospect Park, which shuts down March 12, and Bryant Park, which closed January 16 to make room for Fashion Week.

The Rink at Rockefeller Center will remain open through April 16.
