A celebrity-packed Shakespeare Birthday Marathon

shakespearesociety.gifLiev Schreiber, F. Murray Abraham, John Turturro and Marcia Gay Harden are among the celebrities signed up to take part in the free Shakespeare Birthday Marathon scheduled for Sunday, April 23.

The four-hour event, held to celebrate the 442nd anniversary of the Bard's birth, is the brainchild of the Shakespeare Society.

Many other performers will take part, including Estelle Parsons, Denis O'Hare, Marian Seldes, Maria Tucci, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Elizabeth Marvel, Philip Bosco, Kathleen Chalfant, Fritz Weaver, Michael Cumpsty, John Rothman, Joe Plummer, David Townsend, Kristin Linklater, Isaiah Sheffer and Marjorie Garber.

The Shakespeare Birthday Marathon will take place from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Peter Norton Symphony Space, located at 2537 Broadway at 95th Street, map.
