Two top romantic inns not too far from Manhattan

bowmanshill.JPGThe I Love Inns website has come up with a list of the top 10 romantic inns for 2006, including two within driving distance of New York City.

Housed in a Victorian mansion, Sea Crest By The Sea in Spring Lake, New Jersey, is about an hour from New York City. The rooms have fireplaces, in-room jacuzzis, feather beds, fresh flowers, Frette linens and fridges stocked with wine and Godiva chocolates.

The Inn at Bowman's Hill, in New Hope, Pennsylvania, is less than two hours from Manhattan. You'll find an orchid conservatory with running waterfall, marble bathrooms, whirlpool tubs, heated towel racks, feather beds, fireplaces, and a full English breakfast.
