Sound for Sights' free Rockefeller Center audio tour

rockefeller.soundsforsights.jpgSound for Sights, which sells self-guided audio tours of New York City for ipods and mp3 players, this week started offering its Rockefeller Center and Diamond District tour for free.

"This isn’t a short promotion and you don’t need a coupon… the tour is now available from our website completely free," according to the note on the Sound for Sights site.

Other tours, which run about 45 minutes and cost $4.99 each, cover Times Square, the financial district and the South Street Seaport.
