New York digging out from 26.9 inches of snow
New York City is digging out from its biggest snow storm on record, with 26.9 inches accumulated in Central Park in just under 24 hours. LaGuardia Airport will remain closed until 6 a.m. Monday, but all other airports in the region have reopened. But they have delays -- along with Amtrak and all public transportation in the city.
The city has deployed 2,200 snow plows and expects to have the streets clear in time for the morning commute.
