$75 all-you-can-eat chocolate fest at Ritz-Carlton

statueofliberty.chocolate.jpgSure the Ritz-Carlton on Central Park has the $850,000 Valentine's Day package, but look downtown for a comparatively practical splurge.

The Ritz-Carlton at Battery Park is serving an all-you-can eat chocolate buffet with more than 20 decadent desserts throughout February, according to Time Out magazine.

Miniature Black Forest cakes, double-chocolate raspberry macaroons and milk chocolate fondue are on the menu, all prepared by French pastry chef Laurent Richard.

The $75 indulgence includes all the champagne you can drink, but of course. It's served on the 14th floor, reservations suggested as space is limited.

The Ritz-Carlton, Battery Park is located at 2 West Street, map.
