Sixth Street Curry Row makes way for other cuisines

Curry Row, the stretch of Sixth Street between 1st and 2nd avenues chock-a-block with Indian food restaurants, is in flux, according to Photoblogger What I See.

There are now only 15 Indian restaurnts on the stretch. Nine other types of restaurants have crept in, with Japanese leading the upstarts with four spots.

What I See has pictures of all the store fronts in daylight, but he pledges to return for night pictures to capture the abundant lights and sitar players in the front windows. (Map.)
