CBGB's final night: Halloween 2006

After 30 years on the Bowery, iconic punk rock club CBGB will close its doors next Halloween according to a deal reached today, MTV News is reporting.

The club will pay "near-market price of $35,000 a month -- up from the old deal's $19,000," according to the Associated Press. The club has been operating without a lease since September.
